Casey D. Barnett, MBA

Teaching F1 Accountant in Business, P4 Advanced Financial Management, CAT T1 Recording Financial Transaction

Casey holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School, the No. 2 business school in the world according to the financial Times. He also holds a BA from Dartmouth College.

Casey founded CamEd in the year 2000 and has acted as Director and Consultant since that time. Previously in New York, Casey worked at Wall street law firm Milbank Tweed in the banking and investment department.

 

Bee Khiam Lim, FCCA, CA (MIA), CMIIA

Teaching F5 Performance Management, F7 Financial Reporting, CAT T2 Information for Management Control

BK Lim is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Malaysia.

BK has more than 15 years experience in internal audit in various industries including multinational (Carlsberg Brewery), large diverse group (Sunway Group of Companies) and the largest palm oil exporting conglomerate in Indonesia. In his position as Head of Group Internal Audit, he was responsible for ensuring the company's risk management and controls are at high standards.

 

Sam Ghanty, Phd.

Teaching F9 Financial Management

Sam Ghanty has a Doctor of Philosophy in accounting from the University of Wisconsin. He also holds a master in science in international business, a master in administration in finance, investment and banking, and a bachelor degree in agricultural economics from University of Wisconsin.

He taught at the University of Wisconsin for two decades, where he was awarded outstanding teacher of the year, outstanding recognition award in teaching and research, and Leon P. Hermsen award for best teacher of the year. He is a member of the Board of Director of a state-owned bank in transition to the private sector and a member of the CDRI Board of Directors, and Economic Advisory Team.

 

Liao Wei Ying, ACCA, CPA (Singapore)

Teaching P2 Corporate Reporting, P3 Business Analysis

Liao holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investment and Banking. She also is a member of the ACCA.

Liao has spent many years as Regional Management Accounts Manager for Total Oil South & East Asia Pte, Head of Budgeting and Management Control Asia for Total Oil Asia Pte, Ltd, and currently as Finance and Administration Manager for Total Cambodge. Previously, she was also a Finance Manager for Premier Healthcare Services International Pte, Ltd and a Financial Analyst for Mount Elizabath Hospital Ltd.

 

Augustine Bong, CPA

Teaching F8 Audit and Assurance

Augustine Bong is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, member of KICPAA and MICPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA, member of MIA). As a full member of MICPA with years of post experience, he is qualified to be an ACCA member.

Augustine is currently practicing audit in Cambodia. He had served close to 14 years with a big 4 international accounting firm and 4 years in senior management position in the corporate sector with a Malaysian public listed company.

 

Douglas Froggatt,

Teaching F2 Management Accounting, F3 Financial Accounting, F6 Taxation and CAT T3 Maintaining Financial Records

Douglas is an accountant and trainer from the UK and he underwent the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountant in England & Wales) qualification. He also holds BSc Mathematics from Imperial College and is an Associate Member of The Royal College of Science.

Douglass has served as interim Director of CamEd, technical assistant of an aid organization within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Senior Auditor in Arnold Hill and Brand manager and Examination Coordinator of ACE.

 

John Seager, Msc.

Teaching portions of F1 Accountant in Business

John holds a Msc. in IT from City University London and a B.A. Hons. Social Anthropology from University of Sussex. He also underwent the PGCE (Post-Graduate Certification in Education) and PCET (Post-Compulsory Education & Training).

He has been teaching more than 15 years on wide range of information system technology courses, and he was IT Consultant in British Commonwealth Secretariat, Senior Systems Analyst in Hill Samuel Investment Services Group, Business Analyst in Compaq Computer EMEA GmbH, and SAP R/3 Consultant and Business Analyst in Datacomp Ltd.

 

Juliet Cadungog-Uy, MBA, DM, LLB.

Teaching P1 Professional Accountant, T5 Managing People and System

Juliet holds a BS in Commerce major in Accounting, Master in Business Administration, and Bachelor of Laws from Foundation University; Doctor of Management from Central Visayas Polytechnic College; and Master of Arts in Education major in Special  Education (CAR) from the University of Southern Philippines.

She has worked as Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy of Negros Oriental State University and as graduate school lecturer for several years. She is an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines and member of the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business. In Cambodia, she worked as Research, Monitoring & Evaluation advisor of an NGO funded by USAID.

 

Brian Bolkcom

Teaching F4 Corporate and Business Law, Business Law Writing Workshop

Brian holds a Juris Doctor Degree from William Mitchell College of Law, a Master Degree in Social Science from University of Hamburg and a Bachelor Degree of Social Science from Loyola University.

Brian Bolkcom has lived and worked in Southeast Asia for nearly 20 years. He has been a member of State Bar of California since 1984. His areas of experience include commercial law, real property, transactions, company formation, and immigration and human rights law.
