History

Achieving Vision Through the Win-Win Collaboration of Employees, Clients, and Students

An Entrepreneurial Venture

CamEd was founded in 2000 by Director Casey Barnett. Without any start up capital, CamEd grew from persistent reinvestment of profits and the dedication of its employees. Initially providing tailored training and research, CamEd began to develop standard programs for the local market.

In 2003, CamEd established the first CPA training program in Cambodia. As a local company that survives on its profits, we are keenly aware of the needs and issues affecting other businesses operating in Cambodia.

Teamwork

The key success factor of CamEd is its employees who consistently improve the type and quality of services. CamEd is a democratic workplace. Employees are empowered to make meaningful contributions that bring them closer to personal goals and insure the success of CamEd.

Working with the Community

CamEd is represented on the American Cambodian Business Council and the Working Group on Law Taxation and Good Governance. CamEd has forged partnerships with the National University of Management and the Royal University of Law and Economics to transfer skills to their professors.
