Casey Barnett, CFA, FCCA, MBA
Teaching F7 Financial Reporting and P2 Advanced Financial Reporting
Casey is the President of CamEd Business School as well as a lecturer. He was a World Bank consultant in the area of public sector financial reporting. He is an expert in IFRS and trains finance professionals from esteemed multinationals such as PwC, KPMG and E&Y. He is an advisor to the National Accounting Council. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charterholder.
Dr. Parmindar Singh
Teaching P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics and P3 Business Analysis
Parmindar holds a doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has taught the ACCA and MBA programs for more than 20 years. He has previously also conducted corporate training for Petronas, Shell and Fuji Xerox. He has also taught the ACCA programs in Hong Kong, Brunei, and in China (Xian Jiaotung University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics). His research interests include strategic management, corporate governance and information systems.

Maria Isabelita C. Manzon-Cabrera, CPA, MDE

Teaching FMA/F2 (Management Accounting), F5 (Performance Management), F8 (Audit and Assurance)

Maria Isabelita is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting which she achieved with the honors of magna cum laude and valedictorian.  She has had the highest score in Accounting Theory in the Philippine CPA exams.  She holds a Master of Distance Education degree from the University of the Philippines Open University.  She is also a Kindermusik-Licensed Educator in USA.  She has worked with the leading audit firm in the Philippines – Sycip, Gores, Velayo & Company.  Her work experience covers 15 years of multinational exposure in accounting, marketing, training, continuous education, administration & customer services both in supervisory and management capacity.  Currently, she is an Executive Director and Audit Partner with a national audit firm in Cambodia.
Saminathan, MA
Teaching Paper P4 Advanced Financial Management
Sami is one of the most popular ACCA lecturers in Singapore with London School of Business and Finance and has had great success with his students winning national prizes, including 1st place for P4 in Singapore. Over his more than 15 years of ACCA lecturing, Sami has perfected his explanations and exam technique to make complex subjects understandable and exam questions workable. Before joining LSBF, Sami taught for Kaplan University in Singapore as well as the Financial Training Company (FTC).

Dr. Juliet Cadungog-Uy
Teaching F1 Accountant in Business
Dr. Uy has proven masterful in concisely teaching the volume of management and business knowledge for the ACCA F1 exam. Her students earn high scores and award her high evaluations in return. Dr. Uy was formerly a lecturer and the Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy of Negros Oriental State University. She is an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines and a member of the Philippines Council of Deans and Educator in Business. Well qualified, Dr. Uy holds a Doctor of Management, a Master of Arts in Education, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Law.
Roy Goh, ACCA, CPA
Teaching P5 Advanced Performance Management
Roy Goh joins us from Singapore where he is a leading lecturer with London School of Business and Finance. He is an ACCA member, a Singapore CPA and also holds a Master of Finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is well known internationally, providing corporate training of trainers regionally, including Japan. Before LSBF, Roy was with Kaplan University and was Subject Head for Management Accounting for Professional Qualification.
Dr. Phin Sovath
Teaching Diploma in Cambodian Business Law
Dr. Sovath holds a Doctor of Laws from Nagoya University in Japan. He has a broad range of business law experience in Cambodia and is currently a Senior Legal Advisor at Bun & Associates. Previously, he was an Advisor at DFDL Mekong. He has worked in the areas of intellectual property, contract law, project finance, secured transactions, and corporate law. Dr. Sovath also holds a BBA in Management and is a member of the National Commercial Arbitration Centre.
Song Kosal, MA
Teaching Diploma in Cambodian Tax
Song Kosal is the leading lecturer in the field of tax as well as a leading practitioner as the Tax Director for Ernst & Young. He has also worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at PwC, as a Supervisor of Tax and Corporate Services at KPMG, and as Deputy Head of Tax at Bun & Associates. Kosal holds a Master of Fiscal Policy from Nagoya University where he also completed doctoral studies.


Sim Laysym
Teaching Diploma in Cambodian Tax
Laysym is an experienced tax adviser with a degree in management. He has over 10 years of work experience, including with KPMG and DFDL in Cambodia, where he was responsible for relations with the tax authorities. He has advised on tax planning for large property projects, on employee benefits, and has conducted tax due diligence on several major acquisitions in Cambodia. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, focusing particularly on the real estate, transportation industries and non-profit organization. Laysym heads VDB Loi’s Controversy Team, a successful group of senior tax advisers 100% dedicated to tax audits and disputes. He has a long and proven track record of successful defense of multinationals, banks and property developers.
CHHUN Sambath
Teaching Cambodian Business Law
Sambath is a Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia, a position he has held since 2008. Sambath earned his Master of Strategy and Management from Lyon 3 University (France). He was appointed by the royal government as a higher education lecturer at the Royal University of Law and Economics in 2003. He was also appointed to be a member of the National Accounting Council since 2011.
Prum Virak, PhD
Teaching Diploma in Cambodian Business Law
Dr. Virak PRUM is a well-known figure in the legal community and brings with him over 10 years of international academic and work experience in the fields of law and international development. He has served in various leadership positions including being a senior political officer at the British Embassy, a senior legal consultant, a Dean of a law faculty, a public affairs specialist at the United States Embassy, a policy advisor for an international organization and an Associate Dean of a college of social sciences. Dr. Virak has published articles in various peer-reviewed journals on decentralization, public administration and climate change. He has also authored many opinion pieces on Phnom Penh Post on constitutional law, administrative law, international economic law and competition. Dr. Virak is a frequent speaker and acts as a legal expert at numerous conferences and workshops and teaches at the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions.
Dr. Virak received his law degree in 2000, a Master of Law in 2003 from Nagoya University (Japan) and a PhD in international development in 2006 also from Nagoya University. He also received a graduate certificate in human resources management from George Brown College, Canada, in 2008. He speaks English, French and Khmer professionally and can carry on conversation in Japanese.
